Bonus Question: What's being said here?

Well, it's all over! We are at the end of seven wonderful weeks of rugby, and all we are left with are the memories - the upsets, the tries, the heroes, the villains ... and all the chin-wagging.

We've compiled a list of our favourite quotes from the play-offs, all taken from the mouths of the men on the war's "front-line" - and before you harangue us for that parallel, please note that we lifted it from New Zealand hooker Anton Oliver.

But can you attach names and situations to the other quips? Scroll to the bottom of the page for answers.

QUOTES:

"He told me that we ought to be proud of what we had achieved. I told him that we were sorry that we couldn't finish the job. And then I asked him for a tax rebate, but I'd forgotten that he's changed jobs."

"I don't remember the first one, it's too long ago ... I'm still enjoying this one."

"What do you want me to do when someone is committing an offence, and again, and again? Should I give them a kiss?"

"We are not just a rugby team. We are a team with a whole lot of things, with heart, with soul, a whole lot of things."

"I'm into gangster rap and Frank Sinatra at the moment."

"I also like lying next to the shower with the shower on, in the bathroom, on the floor. I just lie and read and like the sound of running water."

"It's either my neck or my hand, but something goes off."

 "I'm a likeable guy!"

"I think, and I've said it many times in the past, that to know what Test match rugby is all about you have to play South Africa, as it is one of the toughest games you'll face."

"England is one of those funny teams. When you should beat them you don't, when you shouldn't beat them you do."

"I hope that everyone realises what we have achieved and that we achieved a lot with very little. We have already fulfilled our part. Now it's the others who have to follow us."

"What we did to England, 36-0, we will inflict the same punishment on them again. Some people say I am overconfident, but we are playing in the final a team we have already beaten."

"We knocked out the favourites and made it easier for everyone else."

"We're certainly allowed to express ourselves with Brian. But Wellsy, if you're going to have a dinner party, don't invite Wellsy, he's not the happiest of chappies, a bit of a grizzly bear. So they compliment each other!"

"It came down to nothing, like a coin flipped in the air that comes down on the wrong side."

"We play every game as the last game of our life."

"We know that the Argies are a passionate squad and they will come out very aggressive and that's my game and I love it. I'm actually like a young boy, I can't sleep at night because I am looking forward to the weekend."

"As we've been driving around, kids have been waving at us but I'm not sure that'll still be the case on Friday."

"Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality which guarantees the others."

"There have been no hassles, no problems, no arrests. I think that in Marseille the crowd were trying to get the gendarmes to scrum for them. There were about 40,000 people in Marseille and about 150 gendarmes."

"When you see the most experienced guys like Agustín [Pichot] or Chalo [Gonzalo Longo] crying in the changing rooms, you realise what it really means. We are one of the four best teams in the world. It's crazy."

"We can't do anything about it now. It's going to hurt for a long, long time. I'm lost for words."

"I think to say it was magnificent would probably be an understatement, but I can't think of a better word at the moment."

"He came up to me and said congratulations and I said 'you're an absolute legend - thank you'. It was a privilege to play him this afternoon and he's a top bloke."

"It's hard to say but I'm definitely going to have a beer."

 "I'm hydrating myself, aren't I?"

"We were preparing a patient for a caesarean section and I thought this is a bit late for someone to be calling me."

"The most important guy on your team is your tighthead prop and your second most important guy is your reserve tighthead prop."

"We're a very religious team. A very spiritual team. We believe in God. Going up there was right for us. We went up there to seek our spiritual side for the boys. It's very important for us. That was part of our team bonding so we can build on our spiritual fitness as well."

"It is a marvellous stadium. I might be biased but I think it is the greatest rugby stadium in the world."

" I don't really want to be involved with any side but maybe I'll feel different down the track. I've had enough rugby and I want to enjoy living with my wife and kids. I don't really like the limelight."

"I found that if you don't want anyone to recognise you then don't walk around with Jonny Wilkinson."

"There is no key in sport. Rugby is a combat. It's a fight. If you're good in the fight you can win. The key is to fight and fight."

"My mum and dad are definitely my biggest fans, they've been to every game here. But I still think my dad likes Phil [Vickery] more than me!"

"We know they're very confident but you can knock their machine out of synch; throw some sand into the gearbox. When that happens their beliefs can turn into doubts."

"I'd like to thank the press from the heart of my bottom."

"We actually managed to have a lot of fun, but I tell you, I certainly felt rank as a result of it."

"It doesn't matter whether it's cricket, rugby union, rugby league - we all hate England.''

"People will judge me as they see fit but I feel comfortable that I've done everything I can."

"Sort of desolate, decayed, the smell of - I don't want to dramatise it - but death, you know. That is what it feels like, no-man's land, and it is not a nice place to be."
