Flash Point: Chabal (l) and Shaw come together
France star Sébastien Chabal will face a disciplinary hearing on Monday after being cited for a dangerous tackle on England's Simon Shaw during Saturday's World Cup semi-final in Paris.
The Sale Sharks forward was a replacement for the match, which finished 14-9 in England's favour, and was introduced off the bench in the 26th minute following an injury to Fabien Pelous at Stade de France.
The tackle was spotted by citing commissioner Dennis Wheelahan, and the hearing will take place in Paris.
Chabal is now in danger of missing Friday's 3rd/4th play-off against Argentina at the Parc des Princes.
